Primary function is to operate and maintain material handling equipment as necessary to meet safety standards, quality standards and production schedule requirements.
STARTING PAY for this position is $16.
99 per hour.

50 per hour shift premium, and overtime when needed.
Ability to communicate and perform in a TEAM approach environment.
Willingness to undergo extensive testing including drug and medical screening.
At least one year of experience in material handling preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Flexible to work in any area of the operation.
Must be able to comprehend English and follow direction from JTEKT group leader, supervisor and/or manager.
Must perform all instructions as listed in the Work Element.
Follow Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instructions.
Perform work in a systematic manner when possible to insure all steps are carried out in proper sequence.
Adherence to Standard Work is required.
Follow and comply with all safety requirements in regards to the equipment being used and job being performed.
Follow the Stop-Call-Wait rule at all times.
Project a positive outlook in conversation and conduct.
Able to work in a fast paced team environment without direct supervision.
Able to achieve tugger certification and drive proficiently, as determined is needed by our business demands.
Interface with Oracle system to input component usage on an hourly basis.
Maintain first-in-first-out (FIFO) material flow in work in process stores, and all flow racks.
Record logistic results and safety checks on a daily basis as required.
Responsible for all 5S and daily housekeeping of the Tugger areas.
Assist with 5S cleanup in other areas as required.
Train new material handling associates as needed.
May perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
